Gunkul Power Development Company Limited plans to raise funds in the stock market around the beginning of year 2024 in order to reduce dependence on the parent company and increase the Company’s operational efficiency to support large projects in the future.

Logo

From a company that oversees the construction of the country's energy infrastructure like a path paver that create opportunities for Thai people to use quality electric power in new areas. Today, it has become a leading company that is worth keeping an eye on in the stock market.

We wanted to convey the story of a stable and long-standing company through logo design, thus brought "Endlessly Evolving Energy Pathway" according to the name of Power Development to compose on the acronym GPD. Including designing a symbol that resembles an energy arrow that keep guiding and soaring, signifying business growth towards a clear and determined goal.

2013

Registered company establishment

2014

A total of 7.46 MW of rooftop solar power generation systems has already achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD).

2016

Increased registered capital from 15 million baht to 50 million baht and increased paid-up capital from 15 million baht to 23.75 million baht, to be used as working capital in the Company.

2017

A total of 87 MW of Ground-mounted solar power generation system of the RNS Solar project has already achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD).

2018

Increased registered capital from 50 million baht to 300 million baht and increased paid-up capital from 23.75 baht to 300 million baht, to use as capital for the acquisition of Future Electrical Control Co., Ltd. (“FEC”)
Acquired 99.99% of shares in FEC, the purpose of this acquisition is to allow the Company can immediately enter the business of construction of electrical systems, which is an industry that is in a growing period.
Received the Balance of Plant project with a total value of 2,818.33 million baht in Saran Lom Wind Farm Power Plant Project of Greenovation Power Co., Ltd. (“GNP”) and Mittraphap Wind Farm Power Plant Project of Korat Wind Energy Company Limited (“KWE”).
Commenced the installation of a Microgrid with a project value of 132.89 million baht for the first time, which is a small medium to low voltage power network system for efficient power generation and distribution within the community. Currently, the project has already been delivered to the PEA at Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province.
A total of 696.8 kW of Floating Solar Farm PGI Plant at Prachinburi Province, has already achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD).

2019

Received a project worth 501.21 million baht, which is a construction project for Sikhiu 2 Power Station, Sung Noen Power Station at Nakhon Ratchasima Province and Sisaket 2 Power Station. Currently, the project has already been delivered to PEA
Established a joint venture FEC & ETE with Burapha Technical Engineering Public Company Limited, which has experience in the electrical system service business, which is a joint venture to jointly bid prices, and entered into an agreement with PEA for the construction of a 115 kV underground cable transmission line between Sima Thani Hotel - Nakhon Ratchasima Power Station 6 at Nakhon Ratchasima Province, according to the electrical system development project in large cities, Phase 1. The value of the project on the part of the Company is 155.67 million baht, which the project has already been delivered.
Established a joint venture SKY & FEC with Si Sang Karn Yot (1979) Co., Ltd., which has experience in civil construction. It is a joint venture to jointly bid prices and enter into contracts with MEA for the project to change the overhead cable system to the underground cable system, in order to support an ASEAN metropolis project in the inner area project. (Chidlom Rd, Phetchaburi Rd, Din Daeng Rd, Sathorn Rd and Charoen Rat Rd). The value of the project on the part of the Company is 1,444.68 million baht, which is currently under construction.
Received a project worth 202.8 million baht, which is a contract for the construction of an underground cable system under the Metro Electric System Development Project, Phase 1 (LOT6), Chakri Road, Kamhang Songkhram Road, Phon Saen Road (partial), Yammarat Road (partial), Atsatang Road (partial), Chomphon Road (partial), Mahadthai Road (partial) and Sappasit Road (partial), Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

2020

Established a joint venture with Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited, a company with experience in the construction business in India, in order to bid and enter into a contract with PEA for the construction project of Southern Rangsit 2 Power Station, Pathum Thani Province, The value of the project is 287.57 million baht, which is currently in the process of being implemented.
Received a contract for PEA's construction and improvement of the 115 kV Incoming Line transmission line within the area of Phuket 3 High-Voltage Power Station, Phuket Province. The value of the project is 261.71 million baht, which the project has already been delivered.
Received a contract from PEA for the construction of Kanchanaburi Power Station 3, Kanchanaburi Province and Cha-Am Power Station in 3 provinces. The value of the project is 384.14 million baht, which the project has already been delivered.
Received a contract from EGAT, with a value of 50.08 million baht for the purchase and installation of solar power generation systems roof mounted type. The installation capacity is 582.4 kWp, with a 500-kW battery energy storage system in the central office area, which the project has already been delivered.

2021

Established Future Power Construction Co., Ltd. (“FPC”) on October 20, 2021 with a registered capital of 5 million baht. The major shareholder is FEC, holding 99.99% of the shares, with an objective of providing design, installation services and construction of electrical systems for small projects.
Received a contract from PEA, with a total value of 595.44 million baht for the construction of underground cables in 1 province, 1 road in honor of His Majesty the King in the areas of EGAT 1, EGAT 2 and MEA 1, totaling 12 provinces, which is currently still in the process of implementing the project.

2022

On March 30, 2022, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders No. 2/2022 resolved to increase the registered capital and paid-up capital from 300 million baht to 350 million baht, to be used as working capital in the Company.
Received the electrical system testing work for the first time as a service in the Tha Yang Power Station Project of FEC, with a total value of 321,000 baht, which the project has already been delivered.
On February 2, 2022, Future Power Construction Co., Ltd. (“FPC”) signed a 115 kV transmission line improvement and relocation project contract with Greenovation Power Co., Ltd. and Korat Wind Energy Co., Ltd., total of 2 contracts, with a total value of 37.16 million baht, which the project has already been delivered.
On November 2, 2022, GPD has signed a contract with TPI Polene Power Public Company Limited, for survey, design and construction of a power plant from ground-mounted solar power generation and installation of an electric transmission system of 22 kV, with a capacity of 61.226 MW peak / 52.20 MW AC, with a total contract value of 1,823.28 million baht, which is currently still in the process of implementing the project.
On November 25, 2022, GPD signed a contract with PEA for the improvement of the efficiency of the power station control and protection system, Phase 1, according to the annual investment budget of 2022, Item 2 (Group 2), for 3 power stations, with a total contract value of 80.25 million baht, which is currently still in the process of implementing the project.
On December 20, 2022, the joint venture GPD&FEC signed a contract with PEA, for the construction of an underground distribution system of 22 kV according to the electric system development project in large cities, Phase 1, Lot 6, Arak Road, at Chang Ku Hueang area - Sri Phum Road, at Chaeng Sri Phum area, Chiang Mai Province, with a total contract value of 235.6 million baht, which is currently still in the process of implementing the project.
